Group Fitness

Improve your fitness and become a part of the community by joining our popular group fitness classes. Our timetable features a wide variety of exercise classes to suit everybody's individual needs and fitness levels. 

Our group fitness classes range from high-intensity fat burning classes, water aerobics classes, low impact reconditioning classes and everything in between. If you're looking to get lean, toned and fit, fast, then our group fitness classes are for you!

Classes 

 

RPM

The indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. Burn calories and get fit-Fast.

Cycle

A freestyle indoor cycling program with the ride sequence and a music playlist put together by the instructor.

Sprint

A 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results.

Vinyasa Yoga

A continuous and flowing yoga class incorporating creative and interesting sequences to work the mind and body as one.

BodyBalance

In the class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. Bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates.

Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You will strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centred and happy.

Barre Class

Classical dance movements drawn from Yoga and Pilates.

Mat Pilates

A floor based class with a focus on the breath, Pilates exercises relieve stress and soothe aches and pains. The cues and corrections of each class will increase your postural and muscular awareness, both during the class and the minute you step out of it.

Hatha Yoga

A wellbeing class that Is focused on alignment as well as physical & mental benfits of each pose. Each pose is progressively held for longer periods of time.

Foundation Yoga

Foundation Yoga is a class that breaks down each pose and movement and is designed for beginners through to those that wish to improve their yoga technique.

Yoga

These classes don't have a specific style but combines movements and positions from all yoga styles.

​Meditation

This is a guided mediation class, designed to calm the mind and body and refocus your energies.

LLLS (Living Longer Living Stronger Circuit)

A circuit class for over 50s focusing on improving muscle strength, flexibility, balance and includes functional exercises to assist in day to day living.

Healthy Hearts

Healthy Hearts is a gentle physical activity program suitable for those who haven't exercised in a while.

Take it at your own pace and exercise in a friendly atmosphere. Healthy Hearts is open to everyone and is designed to be safe for people with stable long term health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes of obesity.

MIOLI (Move it or Lose it)

A low impact moderate impact class for over 50s. Features a combination of light cardio, strength and flexibility (stretching) exercises. 

Zumba

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? This is an exhilarating, effective, easy to follow, Latin inspired calorie burning dance fitness class.

 

BodyPump

The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. Body Pump will challenge all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like Squats, Presses, Lifts and Curls. This class offers two options, BodyPump Full which is a 55 minute class, or BodyPump 45 8 Track, which is a 45 minute session. 

BodyAttack

A high-energy fitness class with moves like running, lunging and jumping combined with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. Your instructor will pump out energizing tunes that lead you through the workout - challenging your limits no matter your level of fitness, and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

BodyCombat

This high energy martial arts/boxing inspired workout is totally non- contact and there are no complex moves to master. Just a high powered and exhilarating workout that is lots of fun.

BodyStep

An instructor choreographed class utilising a step platform which works the hips, butt and thighs while also driving the heart rate up. There are two options; Step 60 lasting for 60 mins and Step 45 lasting for 45 minutes but of higher intensity.

Boxing

Learn the fundamentals of boxing while improving cardiovascular fitness​.

Core (Formerly known as CXWORX)

This 30 minute session will work all the muscles around the core of your body, CXWORX provides the vital ingredient for a stronger, leaner body.

Circuit

A circuit class which combines the use of resistance training, core and stability work for an overall body workout. The class is designed to be accessible for people with varied ability levels and is inclusive for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

AAA Circuit

Our AAA Circuit Is a fun circuit and games session for those with an intellectual disability to get you active and social. Its light paced and fun exercise, that makes you feel good. 

Aqua

Our Aqua classes are designed for those that have not exercised for while, and may have underlying health conditions. It's a friendly and open space to start to exercise and socialize with our community. Our Aqua classes can be taken in our regular pool, or our warm water pool.
